Townsville to Rockhampton

Well here we are again on our trip south, we left Townsville & headed for Rockhampton, with a
stop for lunch at Bowen in a pub that we had lunch in 3 years ago (long time between visits). We stopped over night at Mackay in a nice park & chatted with other Stirling owners. Beats me with park owners that they put 25" vans on small sites we hung over either end in the drive through by 2" each end. So we had to find ourselves another one. So off next morning to Rockhampton.

The motorhome in the background was at the park in Mackay it was pulling a nice enclosed trailer with small car inside.

We had a good few days in Rockhampton we went to the Capricorn Caves, Yeppoon, Emu Point
drove past Mt Archer which had a fire going on it, this fire went for days before the rain put it out. At the caves we meet John how is a fireman in Albury & takes the most beautiful photos. We left Rocky for Gin Gin but more about that part of the trip next time.
