Mildura to Melbourne Wedding

Hi everyone,
Well it has been a very busy month for us, what with a new grandson and a wedding.
Just a couple of shots of Moorook and Mildura for you, where we had a very relaxed time in both places.

Our site by the Murray River

The flood level sign at Moorook
The sign shows the 1974 level Ian has his hand on that one, the next is the 1931, then way up is the 1956 flood. Just imagine the amount of water to get that high.
Some river traffic and you can buy this one

A river tug boat, these guys stopped for dinner in the RSL on Friday night

This is to wash your pets I think, but it may be hard to get them to stay in the machine
Now we come to one of the important events of the month. Rafael Galen Larocca born on the 17 Oct 2011 @ 4.43pm, he weighed in at 7 lbs and was 45 cm long, to proud parents Robert & Mel.

Saturday 5th of November came round with a beautiful sunny day at Polly McQuinn's Weir, just east of Euroa for Tatania and Keith's wedding. Ian had to wash the truck on Saturday as it got dirty on the drive up. As you can see we dressed it up a bit.
The Bridal  car a bit unique
Tatania and Stacy arrived to get ready, the 4 of us had fun drinking Moet and getting dressed.

The cake

Cutting the cake.
After the wedding we headed to the Seven Creeks Hotel for dinner, we all sat around in the garden chatting and having a wine or two, then inside for dinner. On Sunday morning we meet up again for breakfast at the pub again. When we started back to Melbourne we meet up with Maree and Russell the Avenel Roadhouse for coffee and a chat. From here we continued onto St Kilda to deliver mum home and return to the van ourselves after a lovely weekend.
Cheers till next time.
